Unleash your inner artist in our Beginner's Acrylic Painting Class! Join us for a fun and relaxed journey into the world of acrylics, where no prior experience is needed. Our friendly instructor will guide you step-by-step, helping you to explore vibrant colors, various techniques, and your unique creative voice. Whether you're looking to de-stress, learn a new hobby, or simply have a great time, this class is the perfect place to start.
Come along to our meetups to improve your art in a relaxed and social atmosphere, and under the guidance of a professional instructor. Complete beginners to experienced artists all welcome.

Our 2 hour meetups are held in a different location each time, usually outdoors.

Bring your own materials which can be anything from pencils or pastels, to watercolour or oils.

If you are a complete beginner all you need to start are a couple of good drawing pencils, a rubber, and a drawing pad.

Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to experienced artists. The instructor is there to help everyone.

The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

Camila Centeno Bonnet
Camila Centeno Bonnet began her artistic journey in her home country of Caracas, Venezuela, where she was immersed in a household of writers, fostering a deep appreciation for literature that continues to inform and influence her artwork. She was introduced to visual arts with traditional media and photography. In 2012, Camila relocated to Pittsburgh, PA, to pursue a B.A. in Media Arts: Film and Digital Technologies with a minor in Graphic Design at Chatham University. This educational background laid the foundation for her diverse skill set in both traditional and digital media.

In 2020, Camila founded Alley Cat Studios, a design studio and artist marketplace, where she continues to explore and share her creative process. Her art practice encompasses digital and traditional illustration, animation, video production, acrylic and gouache painting, and collaging.
Mikhail Ion
Mikhail is a local Pittsburgh artist who specializes in watercolor painting. He currently attends the Pratt Institute of Art as a painting student. He is experienced in book illustration, animal illustration, ceramics, and fiber arts.

The best bark comes from a cold weather climate where it grows thick to help protect the tree. This is a portrait of Monty, one of our family of cats. Unfortunately, Monty passed away late last year, succumbing to an agressive cancer. Monty was an extremely loving, though demanding, cat and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
